Beyond the ‘Kill

Beyond the ‘Kill is the story of Todd Newman and his transformation from a trapped, troubled young man, with a seemingly life-limiting learning disability, to the kind of person he always aspired to be, when, after his arrest for arson, Todd’s new life, quite literally, rises from the ashes of his own misguided act. His story is told by his best friend, AG, an old covered bridge which spans the Battenkill River, or the ‘Kill as the locals call it.
